Enjoy the feeling of earth in your hands. The raw, unglazed exterior of this Kyusu tea set allows the craftsman's mastery to shine undistracted. The angles achieved on these wheel-thrown pieces are awe-inspiring. 

The texture of the outer clay contrasts beautifully with the glossy glazed inside of each piece. 

Each pot serves two 120ml cups of tea. 

Each teapot and cup is individually handcrafted on a potter's wheel. Slight variations will exist with each unique set.

They create a range of modern ceramics with an element of traditional sensibility. They value simplicity that leaves room for the user. They aim for their work to finally feel complete in the moment of its use.

Looking to combine the collaboration and support of larger kilns with the creative freedom of being solo artists, Doi and Nagaya created 3rd Ceramics. Through their partnership, they strive to create simple products that make people’s lives just a little richer.

Meeting Doi and Nagaya gave a wonderful feeling of familiarity. Their passion for exchanging views and sharing art with others immediately resonated with the OKAERI’s vision.

After a tour of their studio workshop, it was clear their beautiful works were a fantastic fit.
