Kamawanu Furoshiki | Yellow Hemp Leaves "Asa-no-ha"
Kamawanu Furoshiki | Yellow Hemp Leaves "Asa-no-ha"
The furoshiki is a traditional Japanese wrapping cloth. It is a light and casual cotton square cloth that can be used every day. Despite being thin, it is durable and easy to carry, making it versatile for a daily shopping bag, as a handbag, or wrapping bento boxes and gifts.
Each of KAMAWANU's furoshiki is dyed using a traditional Japanese hand print method that soaks through to dye both sides of the fabric. The edges are hemmed, unlike the tenugui, which is traditionally unfinished.
