On our most recent visit to Japan, we had the pleasure of meeting the artisan behind Asano's gorgeous paper lamps. As a certified Master of Traditional Crafts, she had been perfecting her art form for over 20 years. Each lamp is handcrafted in their Gifu warehouse with incredible skill and dedication. Carrying on traditional crafting techniques, every Asano lantern is a modern embodiment of the traditional Japanese chochin lamp.

The lamp is 37cm wide and stands approximately 50cm high.

All electrical components are ready for safe use in Australia and certified by an Australian electrician.
