Tea tools & matcha at Japanese homewares pop up store

Japanese homewares pop-up coming to Brisbane

This July, Brisbane is set to host a celebration of Japanese homewares and design as we bring our much-anticipated pop-up store to the heart of West End. From July 4th to 27th, "Handmade in Japan with OKAERI" will transform the Project Space at Vacant Assembly into a haven of artisanal beauty and cultural connection.

Open every Friday to Sunday, the pop-up invites visitors to explore our curated collection of Japanese homewares, ceramics, paper lanterns, natural fragrances, and gifts. Each piece embodies the rich history and heritage of Japanese craftsmanship and is designed to last a lifetime.

Attendees can immerse themselves in the elegance and tradition of Japanese artistry, with opportunities to share coffee and matcha while learning the stories behind the makers. The event also features exclusive products and collaborations with local Japanese artists, offering a unique shopping experience that celebrates the meaningful connections and stories of the artisans.

Located at Vacant Assembly, 266 Montague Road, West End, the venue provides an intimate setting to appreciate the exceptional artistry and traditions being kept alive by Japanese artisans. Whether you're a longtime admirer of Japanese culture or simply looking to add a touch of elegance to your home, this pop-up offers something for everyone.

Don't miss this opportunity to experience the beauty of Japanese craftsmanship firsthand. Directly across the road from the West End Markets, it’s the perfect stop on your way to the markets. For more information and event updates, be sure to follow us on Instagram.
